I began my career in the 3d animation industry at DQ Entertainment as a 3D Animator, initially working in the motion capture department where I handled data cleanup and animation. During this time, I developed a strong interest in compositing and visual storytelling.
When DQ initiated a specialized compositing training program led by French professionals using Fusion, I was highly motivated to be part of it. Despite initial resistance from management, I persisted and successfully secured a place among a selected some trainees. This marked a turning point in my career.
My early ambition, even during my school days, was to explore global opportunities and learn VFX for films. Transitioning into compositing at DQ allowed me to move closer to that goal. I gained valuable exposure to international workflows and collaborated with experienced foreign artists, which significantly enhanced my understanding of filmmaking and post-production.
During my tenure, I was honored with the “Best Employee of the Year” award in the R&D department for my contributions to motion capture. DQ has been an important foundation in my career, and I continue to carry a deep passion for compositing ,cg and visual effects.
